Born and raised in Holguin, Cuba, Jorge Orozco graduated as a General Nursing Technician in 1986 and worked for Cuba’s Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) for 26 years.
During his long nursing tenure, Orozco served for eight years in the General Surgery ward and 13 years in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Holguin’s V. I. Lenin Hospital. He then served for five years at the Provincial Integrated Systems and Urgent Medicine center (SIUM).
In 2003, Orozco graduated as a Registered Nurse and earned the Gold Title recognition for his academic achievements.
Orozco is passionate about the medical field and has a kindhearted approach to assisting Fenix Medical’s patients. The veteran nurse has an encyclopedic knowledge of medical conditions, medicines and their effects on human biochemistry.
After working as a nurse for 20 years, he continued expanding his education as a Specialist in Intensive and Emergency Nursing.
Orozco arrived in the United States in 2015, and within a year, joined the Fenix Medical family.
